An Interstate Offer

Today during lunch-time, the Regional Engineering Manager approached me and gave me a secondment offer: site experience in Western Australia.  It was a decision I could not take lightly.  Whilst I wanted site experience, especially so early on in my career, I knew it was a step outside my comfort zone – away from friends and family, and to drop my responsibilities here in Melbourne, including church ministry.  I sent off some emails to Steph as well as family and close friends.  Steph was the first to give me the green light to go.

Now’s the time to start praying…
