Earth Hour 2008

I organised a dinner at Steph’s place. Expecting around 12-15 to show, it turned out that there were 20 people!  Among them was my colleague Michael “Benji” Benjamin whom I fetched from the city earlier in the day and helped with the dinner preparations. It took 5 hours to prepare, but it was fun and worth it. Being the night where we celebrated Earth Hour, we had a candlelit dinner from 8pm to 9pm. On the menu were:

  • Querzoli Chicken Nuggets
  • Stuffed Chicken Bites, with Sun-dried Tomato, Pesto and Mayonnaise Dip
  • Japanese Gyoza
  • Chicken and Avocado Penne Pasta
  • Potato, Lamb and Triple-Cheese Bake
  • Italian Salad
  • Oreos, Vanilla Ice-Cream and Peach Slice “In-a-Cup”
  • Japanese Cheesecake (made from scratch by Sonia!)
