“A Circle of Blue and Purple”

Earlier last week, I attended the Aflame Community Church Annual Camp which ran from Sunday to Wednesday.  Last night, I attended a Holy Spirit equipping and prayer session at church which was led by Rev. Stuart Gramenz, an itinerant minister who preached during the camp.

During one of the “learning to be led by the Holy Spirit and prophesy” exercises, I was in a group of 4 where one of them (Siung Siung) suddenly mentioned:

“I see a circle that’s blue and purple.”

Curious, I pressed for more info: “Can you elaborate?”

“Hmm… no, not really.  Actually, it’s shiny.”

It was funny – because later I explained to everyone else what I thought:

Well, my favourite colour is blue and my girlfriend, Stephanie’s, is lavender, or light purple.  There are few things which come in the form of a shiny circle and has to do with relationships.  And yes, I will be proposing soon…”

And so this morning I started this SGS blog.  I have twenty days to blog the entire SGS journey (well, at least the highlights!)  At least this would be something I could share with Steph and we could share to our greater community – how we began, how we celebrate our “monthly anniversaries”, how I proposed, and other cool stuff!
