The best surprise Steph gave me was, of course, coming home a day earlier from her 2-week stint in Taiwan. Yesterday as I was about to head off to badminton, Steph was there in the driveway smiling at a somewhat stunned individual who was momentarily perplexed: “Is it Sunday already?”
After a 24hr fiesta of scrumptious CNY meals, it was time for me to hole myself up in the kitchen to produce something delectable… something edible from 2-weeks’ worth of experimentation:
- Homemade BBQ pizza
- Stuffed zucchini flowers
- Crayfish mornay

Wow it took my (aussie) husband 6 years before he did anything like that …
