Steph and I caught up with Joy Leet over dinner this evening. Joy encouraged me from her experiences in seconding to NZ for a year. Some of the interesting things she said:
- Don’t just automatically go into the ministry you’re familiar with, just go where the Holy Spirit leads.
- It’s a very rewarding time and when you come back, you realise you’ve grown and are able to do things you weren’t able to do previously.
- Be a blessing while you’re away.
